Eclipse technical difficulties
Minor update to anyone who still might be submitting Pinkie Pie artworks to this group. First of, while I'm barely active with accepting your works, I appreciate every single Pinkie art arriving here. Thank you guys. And, most importantly - due to recent Eclipse update and how deviantArt managed to leave simple group moderation tools behind, with half of the site still working on old code, and another on new, incomplete one, it is possible that there will be no new submissions to the group. Simply because I no longer know how to do it conveniently.
With how rare new works are, I believe it shouldn't impact anyone too hard, however I apologize in advance if, by any chance, I missed your submission during this "transition time". Hopefully this will get resolved soon.
Isn't Eclipse pushed a bit too early?
Well, time to add up to probably a huge load of journals currently running through deviantArt.
By all means, I do not understand the strategy that dA devs/executives/whatever follow. Eclipse, by all means, is hardly as intuitive as original engine. It's not comfortable to use, and that's even the least of a problem.
I might understand a security concern and a fact that they neen absolutely new engine built from ground-up. However! If you want to release new engine - why you do it so prematurely? I feel like it would be much smarter to at least finish developing Eclipse, so it would have full functionality of old engine, rather than pull it on everyone's heads as soon as something is done. Notes system still uses old engine. Groups administration system probably still uses old engine. All that there is now is only a major inconvenience for all the users, while old holes still remains, maybe even with a bunch of new ones due to incomplete engine.

...whoa. Well, okay, back then it didn't looked too too bad. I also nearly forgot about that one, though that I actually started from y Dark's History fan-fiction story...What is your favourite type of art to create?
Fiction stories, mostly fan-fiction in some fantasy universe. Lots of action, magic, explosions, some humour and a pinch of love drama or something.If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
I'd like so much to learn how to draw comics in nice-looking yet simple style... but I'll better stay with refining my writing style.What was your first favourite?
Aaah yeah, I even can remember that one, lovely drawing of my friend darky-any, with our two Chao characters. Devil never had much of spotlight, poor little thing. I need to think of something for him, I guess.What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
I'm not sure there's any specific type. There's a whole variety of art and artists, some art I just enjoy seeing, and some I want to keep to look at it later again and again. And can't say that I prefer something centrain to keep in favorites, it's kinda random.Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
There's no "all-time" that I can name. As time been passing, many artists been going through a lot of changes in their art style, changes that I more or less enjoyed. Some kept on going, some left. On a long run, I still love to see KetrinDarkDragon, Cheroy and darky-any drawing - all three of them always stand on different levels, but their progression is notable, art style always improves, and it warms my heart to see them still moving on.If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
I'd love to meet with KetrinDarkDragon, Cheroy and darky-any, really. Simply to enjoy some time with them, maybe inspire them. Or just say my thanks to them in person, for being awesome. Maybe even all of it and something extra.How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
Any drawing I saw and really enjoyed inspired me in that way or another. I see a short story in any art I see. Some simple, some complex, some short and some quite long. Seeing those stories I always wonder how would they look, if instead of your eyes you would use your ears, or simply read the text instead of looking at the picture... and then, from what text gives you - will you be able to see the same story? I always trying my best to make the words go the way that it gives you exactly the picture you want to draw. Arts are what helping me in it more than anything else, keep my imagination running.What are your preferred tools to create art?
Words. Words are my tools of trade.
But if go with something more simply spelled... I prefer Microsoft Word for writing. Somehow, this editor looks most comfortable for me since so many years. Calms me and allows to think only of what I want to make.What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
My room. Doors closed shut, music turned on in earphones to limits. Minute or another to relax and let go unwanted thoughs... and here we go, blank page starts to fill with words. Yet ideas itself tend to come to my head in most unpredictable places - while I'm eating, walking, dancing etc...What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
There's plenty of them. I keep them close to my heart and right now, I'm not ready to let others know them.
